What is something that would surprise me about you?
I used to be a cabaret singer and triathlete when I lived in Oregon. I currently serve on the board of a local nonprofit FlockFest.
What can I expect from your class?
Challenging mentally and physically while having fun and learning about the yoga practice.
What is the most essential part of practice for you?
Harmonizing breath and movement, getting out your head and being completely present.
Dan (E-RYT 200, 500 RYT) has cultivated a deep appreciation and gratitude for the practice of yoga. Whether he’s flowing through his own personal practice, moving in community, or leading a class of new or experienced yogis, Dan integrates the connection of mind, body, and spirit through intentional breath and movement.
He began his yoga journey over a decade ago and became a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) in August 2019. In 2020, he completed an additional 300-hour advanced training through Bija Yoga School, earning his 500-hour certification through Yoga Alliance.
Dan loves crafting challenging, breath-centered classes that build strength, deepen awareness, and encourage playful exploration. His sequences often highlight unique transitions and asanas that invite students to discover something new—whether physically, mentally, or emotionally.
As someone who balances a corporate career with teaching and practicing yoga, Dan truly understands the importance of stepping away from the screen, reconnecting with the body, and returning to the present moment.
