Sophia Vanderheym
Vinyasa Flow

Sophia is a Bay Area native who feels grateful to call San Francisco home. A lifelong mover, she grew up immersed in ballet before discovering yoga in 2010 as a way to balance both body and mind. What began as cross-training quickly evolved into a deep passion for the practice’s ability to harmonize movement, breath, and spirit. In 2018, she completed her 200-hour RYT certification and has been teaching ever since, with a special focus on creating inclusive, playful, and introspective classes that invite students to connect more fully with themselves. Beyond the studio, Sophia finds joy in the outdoors, whether she’s backpacking, mountain biking the trails of Marin, or simply seeking out delicious bites around the city. She’s also known among friends for her homemade spicy chai, which fuels both her adventures and her time in the kitchen
