She/Her

Teacher
Hatha, Restorative

How would you describe your teaching style?

Embodied, heart-centered, energetic, breath-focused

Was there a moment when you knew that teaching yoga was for you?

When I signed up for my first yoga teacher training, I did so to deepen my personal practice. But during my first weekend in training, something struck me that I wanted to share this ancient wisdom and healing technology with others.

What is your favorite class to teach at HAUM, and why?

I love teaching vinyasa because it helps to connect the mind, breath and body in a way that clears the monkey mind and get into heart coherence. I also love teaching restorative as we live in such a fast paced, high stress world, that slowing down can be the thing we need the most— to unravel the ways we hold stress consciously and unconsciously.

What is your favorite class to take at HAUM?

I love to take slow flow, vinyasa + meditation and restorative.

Is there a moment from teaching at HAUM Studios that has stayed with you?

The moments that stay with me are when students make connection through the community that is created at Haum. Each person brings with them the openness for connection and a curiosity for this practice which creates a special energy in this place.

What can students expect when they walk into one of your classes?

You can except to feel your breath, drop from your mind into your heart, move your body with intention and strength, and get present.
